School Holiday Program!

Hi all!
Our popular school holiday program is set to be another awesome week with some fun projects for kids. Running in the second week of the school holidays our line up is as follows:


Monday 6th October - Tag Book.
A great gift this photo tag book can be adapted with colours and embellishments according to the participants choice!

Tuesday 7th October - 3 Bugs Layout
From our Three Bugs Product Preview now the kids get a chance to make this fun layout!

Wednesday 8th October - Star Book
Lots of colour and embellishment choices with surprisingly easy construction.

Thursday 9th October - Card Crazy!
Card ideas abound in Thursday's holiday program session

Friday 10th October - Masterpiece Layout
Another favourite from our Masterpiece Studios Preview. Select from a boy or girl baby theme.


We have spaces available for all sessions. Each session runs from 10am - 11.30/12noon and costs $20 including materials. Barbara runs a fun class and creativity is encouraged!
Recommended ages of participants is 8-15years. Under 8years require a parent or guardian.

LOs using "3 Bugs in a Rug" product



Here are two LOs that I completed using the gorgeous '3 Bugs in a Rug' product range. The bright colours and fun designs are great for scrapping about kids and are suitable for both boys and girls.

Product Preview: Graphic 45 "Botanicabella & Playtimes Past"Take Home Project Instructions!

Hi Folks!
Here are the instructions for the Take Home Project Transparency display book. Use our vintage image sheet (Wendy's family!!) or insert your own pics. If you missed this fun preview we do have some additional kits available for sale. This transparency display book kit is just $9.70 - available in store now.


Product Preview: Graphic 45 "Botanicabella & Playtimes Past"Take Home Project Transparency Mini-display Book
  1. Cut out images from the 12"x 12"Patterned Paper and ink the edges with black ink.
  2. Stamp your display book with flourish designs using white Stazon ink or hand draw designs with a white glaze pen.
  3. Trim photos and start inserting images into each pocket to create mini-layouts both front and back of each section of the transparency. Adhere the images to each other so they don't move around.
  4. Punch a hole into the center edge of the front panel and insert a large brad. Tie the end of the hat elastic around the brad to form the closure of the book.
  5. Knot embroidery thread through your buttons and glue dot onto the center of each paper flower. Adhere the flowers to the outside of your display book.
  6. Attach more brads through the entire pages to further hold images in place. Complete with a few additional images glued to the outside of the display book.

Product Preview: Graphic 45 Botanicabella & Playtimes Past

Hi all,
Here at NZ Scrapbook we LOVE Graphic 45 products! Unique in their rich inviting colours, thoughtful in their sophisticated times past inspired images and carefully artful paper design this is one of those ranges that yes, even I find it hard to cut up sometimes!

This Thursday 18th September at 7pm we will be hosting Product Preview: Graphic 45 "Botanicabella & Playtimes Past"

We will be making this Paper Tole style layout using the Playtimes Past paper, an Artist Trading Card with the versatile Antiquity paper and you will also receive a Take Home project of a transparency mini book featuring more papers from the Botanicabella range.

Materials list for the evening: Cutting mat, scalpel (we recommend the Fiskars Finger Knife), fine tip scissors, photo splits, one 4"x 6"photo (landscape orientation), paper trimmer.


Note: Thursday Night crop IS ON during this event. Yay for a big store so we have room for both fun activities!
