Product Preview Time!! Webster's Pages REPORT!

Hi all!
Monday's nights Product Preview: Webster's Pages "Hello! Beautiful" was a fab sold out success! Fifty-five ladies had a fun night cutting, assembling.... clustering! (hehee)

Here is the evening in pictures:
7pm Came and we settled ourselves upstairs in the classroom

First up on the order of the evening - Checking out the fantastic Webster's Pages Products. Stunning papers!!

Assistant Danice did a great job being my right-hand gal for the evening.

This was the main project for the evening. 12"x 12"layout with a stylish combination of vintage chic with a modern twist.

So we got straight into it! First step was cutting the scallop shapes.

Ann has some alternative ideas for her scallop border!

... and who is that sitting each side of Ann? I'm sure this spells trouble (in a good way!) ... Staff members Fenn (left) and Wendy (right) enjoy being participants from time to time too!

Lots of busy creating activity. Our Product Preview events are perfect for all levels of scrapbooking experience. We lead you through each step of creation PLUS each person has a photo of the finished project and complete step by step instructions.

Prize time!!!! My fav! I love giving prizes away :)

Our lucky prize winners for the evening!
Now I have a confession to make, the lovely Danice kindly wrote down each persons name and what they won. I know MOST peoples names but I hate to make a name mistake... well, I washed the list. Yup it was in my pocket. So the list currently sits as tiny pieces of paper through my BLACK wash. Clever huh? :)
Congrats ladies!

On top of our lucky prize draws we had a BONUS prize for everyone.
Hidden under each chair was an embellishment pack for everyone as a thankyou for joining us at our Product Preview Event.

Back to creating!

Some really lovely pages coming together.

Everyone also received a mini-project card pack. Some speedy gals completed in class!

And then there was also the Take Home Mini Album project pack. Lovely!

Then downstairs for tea, coffee, chit chat and store browsing.
It was a fun evening had by all, and if I do say - Amazing value!! At only $20 for all the goodies and a great evening if you haven't been to one of our Product Preview evenings, keep an eye on your email... I'm sure you can see why these nights fill up fast!!

Thank you everyone for making it such and enjoyable evening! We love our NZ Scrapbook customers - yes that means you!

Product Preview: Webster's Pages Take Home Project Instructions

Hi Product Previewers! :)
We had a fab time last night checking out the new products from Websters Pages, full report to come! In the meantime here is the Take Home Project Instructions - enjoy!

Websters Pages Pocket Family Album

  1. Fold the swatch paper around the outside of the card album and trim off the excess length (approx 1cm).
  2. Slide the calico strip between the middle pages of the card album and tie a knot at the spine.
  3. Adhere the swatch paper to the back cover using glue dots or tacky double sided tape.
  4. To secure the front of the swatch paper to the book, punch two holes all the way through the swatch paper and front cover. Thread a small piece of mesh through the hole and tie at the front.
  5. Punch two holes bottom right of the swatch paper and through the cover. Fasten the mini safety pin through the holes then tie the small ribbon onto the safety pin to decorate. Be sure to punch the holes quite close together so the pin bar will reach the length of both holes. A hand punch is easiest to use to create the holes.
  6. Adhere the word Family to the cover. We used our Xyron Sticker Maker for this purpose.
  7. Tie the remaining mesh around calico to further decorate the spine.
  8. Adhere flower to top right corner of the cover.
  9. Adhere rhinestones to the center of the flower and the front cover as desired.
  10. Fill your mini pocket album with gorgeous photos!!
