Hi Everyone,
By the end of this week school will be finished for the year.  Would your children like to make a special mini album for a grandparent, club teacher, special friend, neighbour or you?!  In this special children's workshop they will make a shaped mini album with a choice of twelve different colour patterns so there something to suit Grandads, Uncles, Aunts, girls.... everyone.  This workshop is suitable for school aged children, adults welcome.

It is beach weather again and a great time to get snap happy with your camera.  This week you can create a double page layout that fits TWELVE gorgeous photos of your choice.  This sample has been completed with black and white photos but colour photos would look equally good. Additional finer details will be added on the night.  Suggested photo size is 4"x2 3/4" - larger photos can be cropped to fit.

 Crop Night Thursday is on from 6pm and also Altered Book Club from 6.30pm.  These are our last formal workshops and crops for the year so to celebrate a fun year of classes and activities we are having a shared supper as part of the evening.  Feel free to join us and bring a plate if you wish.

Continuing with the Christmas theme this week, Thursday's layout will make a beautiful addition to your scrapbook album.  This page uses a 8 1/2" x 8 1/2" sized photo.  If you don't have one the right size we can use our copier to resize for your page.   Lots of pretty embossing and die cutting to make the layered wreath.  Suitable for all levels of crafter, all welcome!

Christmas is just around the corner and it's always nice to get into the swing of things by creating a scrapbook layout of a past Christmas or create the page leaving the photo blank ready to insert from this year.  Please bring a photo approx 8 1/2" x 6 1/2" with you.  If you don't have one the right size we can use our copier to resize for your page.   Lots of pretty embossing and beading to try. Create the title to best suit your photo.

Hello everyone,

Hope you are having a good start to your week.  This week here at NZ Scrapbook we three creative activities you can enjoy.  Wednesday 5th September is our fortnightly Beginners Class workshop.  If you are new to scrapbooking or know someone who would like to give it a try then book in for this easy and fun Wednesday night class.  Just $20 to attend and includes materials.  You will make a complete page and have all your scrapbooking questions answered by our friendly tutor.

Thursday night is the weekly Crop Night which starts at 6pm.  Join us for an evening of scrapbooking and papercraft as we work on our own projects and catch up on the previous weeks latest news and inspiration from fellow Crop attendees.  $10 to attend, please bring your current projects to work on during the evening.  Crop night finishes at 10pm.


This week Scrapbooking techniques with Tracy is a special two part workshop.  Tracy has created a lovely two page spread where you can create one or both pages on consecutive weeks Thursday 6th September and Thursday 13th September at 7pm.  This Thursday is the pretty one photo layout pictured above and then next Thursday you may complete the two page spread by making the two photo layout pictured below.  Check out the neat journal pocket with the prompts Ten Things I Love About You.  Nice!
Each week is $25 to attend and includes materials.

Mini Albums make wonderful gifts and are a lot of fun to make.  This masculine album repeat class was originally designed as a Fathers Day gift (just in time for Sunday!) however you could use photos and title of your choice.  We would recommend travel, masculine, outdoors or heritage style photos.  This album is large notebook size at 18cm from top to bottom.  Workshop fee $25 including materials.

Six hours of open time scrapbooking and paper crafting.  I am always amazed at the array of projects everyone is working on at Mega Crop.  From cards and mini books, to scrapbook layouts and handmade albums.  Inspiration abounds!  Mega Crop is a great way to meet crafty new friends too,  All welcome and no bookings necessary.  Mega Crop is a highlight of the workshop calendar!

New treasure box of Flower embellishments.  Lots of new styles!

 

As keen crafters we are always looking for the new and unique to embellish our projects.  Today we have received a wonderful new selection of velvet, tulle and paper flowers.  There are lovely bead details on some and lots of different sizes and colours to choose from.  Call in store to see the beautiful new selection.  By the way, restock of all the vine ribbons in stock now too :)
