So what is new with us here at NZ Scrapbook? We had a fun day Saturday with some free Make'n'Take projects and class using the new Teresa Collins Carolina Breeze collection.  This week we are enjoying our last three days of the 30% off SALE (finishes end of day, Wednesday 29th Feb), Tracy is repeating the Teresa Collins layout class at her workshop on Thursday night so if you missed the Saturday class its not too late to make this fun project.

There is TWO new collections from Kaisercraft in store.  Tiny Woods and These Days which are quite different and excellent additions to the Kaisercraft range.  Check out the pretty florals in These Days and adorable owls and animals in Tiny Woods.

While we are on the subject of new products we have a new die-cutting selection if die frames by Nellie.  Nellie's Choice Multi Frames are nested frames fantastic for using in your die cut machine to cut shapes for scrapbooking and card making.  Lots to choose from and a really reasonable $24.49 a set.

I just loved making this page!  In the photo it looks pretty simple... and it is.  There are little details that are just so cute and piecing the patterned background together felt like a jigsaw of colour.  Come along, make the page and see what I mean.


After the class there will be TWO stations set up downstairs with FREE Make'n'Take projects for you to create using the NEW Kaisercraft  These Days collection and in case you feel like a bit of a sugar burst marshmallow cones for everyone.

If you can't make the class you are welcome to come and participate in the Make'n'Take projects.  Make'n'Take's this weekend are for adults only (sorry kids, something just for you in future weeks).  Make'n'Take projects take approx 10min each and are available from 11.30am - 2pm Saturday 25th February.

Did you see us in The Herald?

Scrapbooking feature in The Herald 19th February

 Heya folks!
Pretty stoked to see New Zealand Scrapbook featured in the Living liftout of The New Zealand Herald On Sunday this last weekend.  NZ Scrapbook teacher Chantelle Maber and myself had a wee photoshoot with The Herald photographer and was pleased to see the scrapbooking love shared in our national newspaper.  Linda even had a few quotes in the article! Funny thing is she can't remember chatting to the reporter.  All good.

Creative School Books

Hi folks,
Today I thought I would share a nifty idea I've been seeing creative parents in the store doing...
Scrapbook supplies to make stand out and unique book covers.  

So using their inspiration I ran these up for my nephew who started school today (big school boy Nathan!).  They didn't take long to do, are durable and will make it easy to find his books in class.

Simply cover with Scrapbooking paper using double sided tape.  Reinforce the spine with an extra piece of cardstock.  Decorate with stickers, letterering, die-cuts and other flat decorations.  Then cover with clear seal for durability.  SNAZZY! and easy.

Just another way to get more from your supplies.  Decorate the books with your children so they can put their own personal touches on them.
