Crop in the dark

Hi friendly crop goers for Thursday 14th May,

Please be advised Genesis are performing line maintenance during our crop time of 6pm- 10pm. Unfortunately we only received information about this today so should the power go off we will find ourselves in the dark.

At this time Genesis have been unable to confirm the power outage. The power may not go off if conditions do not allow for maintenance. We are planning pizzas and candlelight in the event power goes off. Also a free crop voucher will be issued on the night.

Our apologies for the inconvenience. You may phone for updates on 09 912 0665. I will post more info on this Blog as it comes to hand.

UPDATE: As an additional measure we have booked a second Crop Night for this week for Friday 15th May from 6pm. This means if the power doesn't go off we have TWO fun crop nights this week! Hope you can make it :)

Product Preview: It's a Kaisercraft Party REPORT!

Hi everyone!
Friday night we had a wonderful evening at Product Preview: It's a Kaisercraft Party. With balloons, hats, lollies and lots and lots of prizes it was a blast.

Product Preview: It's a Kaisercraft Party Take Home project

Product Preview: It's a Kaisercraft Party Take Home Instructions

Party Favour Box

1. Cut out the box shape from its printed template.
2. Sponge stamping ink (we used Brilliance Ink) onto the linen weave side of the cardstock.
3. Holding the two opposite shaped tabs together curl up the other opposite sides so that tabs fit through both slots forming the closed curved box.
4. Using a hand holepunch, punch a hole through the vertical tabs and tie it secure with gold curling ribbon.
5. Cut out patterned circles from the Kaisercraft paper and adhere a toothpick to the back of each (like a lollipop shape). Tie a small piece of ribbon around each toothpick and insert into the top of the favour box

Hi scrapbooky and crafty like friends!

It's Product Preview time again. This time you are invited to a Kaisercraft PARTY! So be ready for a night of fun, laughter and really great projects.

This event is this Friday the 8th May at 7pm and we will be featuring the new release products from one of our favourite brands: Kaisercraft. Come along and check out their new papers, off the page books and wood items, stunning new rub ons and rhinestones to name a few.

Our main project for the evening is going to be a huge lot of fun. We will be making the cover page project from the Workshop Magazine Issue 16 - the Birthday Cupcake book! Thats right, you will be making a whole mini board album! This will be a great project to add photos to later of any birthday event.

The Cupcake Board book

Please Bring:

• Your basic kit (scissors, pencil, paper trimmer, photo-splits or clear drying glue)
• A adhesive for applying paper to the wood pages. Recommended: The X2 or X4 Xyron roller adhesive or a large gluestick.
• A scalpel or sharp craft knife and cutting mat.
• No photos are necessary for this evening. Photos can be added later.
