Would you like to try Scrapbooking or have a friend who is interested in giving it a go? Fortnightly we run Beginners Scrapbooking workshops and this is your opportunity to learn the ins and outs of scrapbooking, what you need and where to start. Our tutors will guide you through making a page and you will leave with a finished layout for your album. No materials needed - just bring yourself and a photo or two.

Four Tiered Gift Box

The first time I saw this gift box my response has been the same as everyone I've shown it to since - Wow! so cool! This clever gift or storage box has a lift off lid and opens from the side. As it opens it reveals four stacked drawers for goodies. You can see it in action on the beginning of the School Holiday Program video or come and see it in the store. Don't miss this specialised series of Heritage Workshops. Creating your own family history album can be challenging so in this special class you can have some excellent guidence by scrapbooking tutor Deborah McCollough. This week she will be teaching her torn edge layered layout perfect for scrapbooking smaller photographs up to 4" x6" photos. You will be able to select papers from the store and will leave with a completed layout for your Heritage Album.

New Heritage Class - weekly layouts!

Welcome to new Heritage Class teacher Deborah McCullough! Deborah has been making heritage pages for some years now and we are excited for her to be sharing such lovely layouts in her workshops.

Heritage refers to those black and white family photos - often of generations before - that need slightly special treatment to our usual recent family, celebration and location pics. The style of layout generally reflects the era of the photos in colours and detail. It can be hard to know where to start with photos of this sort - hence our Heritage classes that we have run in the past have been very popular. Come along and let Deborah help you make an album that honors your family history.


Heritage Classes will be running every Tuesday evening at 7pm. Each week will be a different page layout for you to create with opportunity to adjust titles and papers according to the photos you are working with.

Here are the layouts for the first two weeks:

Date: Two time slots available. Monday 19th April at 10am and Thursday 22nd April at 7pm
Fee: $25 including materials

This week you will be learning specilty borders, Cricut title cutting, paper rolling and using dimension in your layouts. This layout works beautifully with family heritage style photos.

Tracy's classes are always enjoyable and an ideal way to learn new techniques. All materials are provided just bring your basic kit (trimmer, scissors, pencil, ruler and adhesives) and a photograph for your layout. Suitable for beginner to advanced scrapbookers. Duration: 2hours

Property Press Cover Congrats!

Congratulations Deborah Foreman on your cover photo on this weeks Property Press!

Deborah, a real estate photographer recently started Photoshop training with Ian Handricks our in store photo restorer, geneology expert and Photoshop trainer. On her very first lesson they worked on improving this photo and wouldn't you know it, it was selected for the cover. Well done!!


Ian's friendly Photoshop training is suitable for people of all levels of Photoshop experience. A one hour lesson is just $35 and he will have you learning and manipulating your own photos in no time.
