Hi friends,
Hows that last minute Christmas rush going?  I am ahhhh... getting there! Just a little reminder that we offer Gift Vouchers which a brilliant for that tricky crafter who seems to have it all so you are not quite sure what s/he needs but would appreciate a supplies gift.  Vouchers are also great as stocking stuffers for when you just need something else.

Gift Vouchers are available in $5, $10, $20 and $50 or any combination.

We are open until 9pm tonight (Thursday), 9pm Friday 23rd December and until 2pm Saturday 24th.

The Mega Crop was a hit!! We are making this a monthly event, next Mega crop is scheduled for Friday March 27th 6pm - midnight.

Just like the kids attending, the Parent and Child Class continues to grow

Meanwhile on the otherside of the room, the Junior/Senior Kids class
create some awesome pages

Journaling workshop Take2 REPORT!

Hi all,
We had a great time at our Product Favourites "Painless Journaling" - repeat night on Wednesday 4th Feb. Check out the pics from that nights event!

Introduction and sharing ideas for painless journaling - it is possible!

A wonderfully attentive audience.

Step one: Fill in the fun questionnaire that would make up our main layout's journaling.

Step Two: Assembling the page so the photos and journaling arrangement looks good.

And just like that - Step Three: Enjoy another completed page. Great work ladies!



And along the way a whole bunch of prizes. Congrats!

Event classes are a fun night out with friends.

And you can get ideas for future projects. This group were checking out my upcoming journals class which is turning out to be a popular workshop.

Finally downstairs for a cuppa and shopping.

Product Favourites Evening: Painless Journaling. REPORT!

Hi all,
Photo time! Our new event evening Product Favourites which we held on Tuesday was a blast.

Some common comments we hear in store are about how challenging journaling can be. "I'll do the journaling later"... "I have an album of pages still to journal" and so on. So we thought this would be a great chance to share some tips and techniques to get your words down on paper as well as photos.

Here is how the evening went down...

Our enthusiastic participants wait patiently for the classroom to come open.

7pm...

and this was the sight waiting for everyone upstairs! It took some time to set up 70 easels, packs and handouts. According to Liam (Staff member Michelle's son, age 4 - turning 5!) I only set up a couple and that he had it sorted .... hehehe (he did do a good job)

The first part of the evening was spent discussing journaling tricks, tips and recommendations. The whole evening was centered around the idea that journaling can be easy AND fun!

Participants with their handouts that they could take home for reference. Including a laminated journaling checklist - handy for those stumped moments.


Next part of the evening was working on our main layout project for the night.
Lots of journaling? Well, it looks that way but really it was some fun 'about me' questions.

Lots of thinking and laughing... questions like "5 essential things to take on holiday" yielded
all kinds of answers!

Writing all done, onto the creative page assembling.

A room full of the same page kit and not one turned out alike! Lots of creative fun.

Everyone got this cute card kit - speedy scrapbookers made it in class.

Plus everyone recieved the Library Pocket Take Home Project AND got to keep their wooden easel.

mum) and them I started and finished my mums birthday present (which is on
