You can create your layout or card on any theme or design BUT
you must use somewhere on your project PAPER CRIMPING.
Small, big, subtle or extensive its up to you!

Entries Close August 31st 2011
Winners will be chosen by panel of judges from New Zealand Scrapbook.

Bring in your entry to NZ Scrapbook, Shop D, 6 Link Drive, Wairau Park, North Shore.
Important if posting: Send to NZ Scrapbook, Private Box 302-851, North Harbour, North Shore.
If you send us your project we will send it back after the display period by NZ Post. We will look after your layout but entry is sent at owners risk and cannot accept any responsibility for lost post or damaged projects.


All entries must have your NAME, ADDRESS, PHONE, EMAIL (if you have one), and if it is the Adult or Children's category (for layouts) attached to the reverse of the project.

By entering this competition you also agree to have your layout on display at NZ Scrapbook until the end of September 2011 and that your layout may be used on our Blog or for promotional advertising with appropriate credit to you.

Adults and Kids! Christmas Decoration Competition now on

Last year we had such a blast with our Christmas Decoration Competition and received some amazing entries. So we have decided to do it again! Put on your festive thinking caps and come up with a pretty, stunning, original or creative tree decoration and be in to win a fantastic scrapbook gift box prize.

Here are the details:

• Entries are open from now until 9pm Saturday 19th December.
• Entries are to be made from scrapbooking/papercrafts products. Preferably purchased from or the sort you would find here at NZ Scrapbook.
• We have two categories: Kids Category - age 12years and under. Adults Category 13years and over.
• You may enter up to 3 times per person.
• Judging is by Customer vote beginning Monday 21st December at 9am and Closes Thursday 24th December at 5pm. One vote per customer.
• Decorations are to be hangable (that is, they have thread or cord loop to hang them from the tree).
• Decorations remain your property and can be collected after the competition period has closed. Mailed in entries are welcome but must include return postage if you would like them sent back to you otherwise they become property of NZ Scrapbook.
• We will care for your entry however NZ Scrapbook accept no responsibility for loss or damage to your decoration.
  
• Entry is open to residents of New Zealand only sorry no overseas entries.
  

We are putting together a fantastic goodie box prize for each category (picture to come).
There will be a thank you gift for each person who enters.

Monster Prize Draw Winner!!

Happy New Year everyone!

I hope you are enjoying this fantastic weather we are having - as I look out my office window there is not a cloud in the sky and my knees are strawberry red (oops!) a sure sign of making the most of the summer sun. Gotta love these long evenings we have been having too. I have been staying up far too late creating but boy is it fun! Don't forget we are open EVERY night (closed Sundays) until 9pm so if you are a night time crafty type like me and need late night supplies we are OPEN for you!

During the month of December we were taking entries for our Monster Prize Draw. Wasn't the prize amazing??! Over $500 value and I know there were more than a few fingers crossed.

Christmas Eve came so we had our honorary dignitary Liam Whorewood drew the prize winner from our hundreds of entries.

It takes serious concentration to make the draw!

Our officiant has a few years yet before he can actually read out the prize winner...

So luckily Linda was on hand to make the call!

Glenys was able to call in later Christmas Eve to pick up her prize. Enjoy every bit of it Glenys!

Mid-winter Christmas Decoration Contest - Everybody's a winner!

Hi All!

Thank-you to our kind sponsors KaiserCraft, everyone who entered our fun Mid-winter Christmas Decoration Contest walked away with a cute KaiserCraft CAR (album...heheheh). We loved all your entries and the ideas have really made me rethink my own decorations for this upcoming Christmas.

I especially loved how many kids entries we had and the number of FAMILIES that got involved. I am very pleased our event gave you impetus to spend family time creating!
