Welcome Tracy to the NZ Scrapbook Team!
Tracy is well experienced in scrapbook and paper crafts retail and has been teaching for a number of years.

We are pleased to have her co-teaching the ever growing Crop Nights on a Thursday and the Mega Crops once a month on Fridays.

Tracy has a special weekly class where she will share techniques as you learn her beautiful style while making one of her layouts.

Technique full this Creative Clock class will teach you collage techniques, use texture paste embellishments and is sealed with an exquisite crackle finish.

Colours and patterns are your choice. Kathleen will help you select co-ordinating designs from the hundreds of paper designs available in store. Bright or subtle, match with your decor - its up to you!

No craft experience necessary - all welcome!

Blackout Croppers!

Last week you may remember we advised that the power may go off during our scheduled crop. Despite our best efforts to have the maintenance rescheduled the power did in fact go off. But as you can see our dedicated croppers pulled out the torches, lit up the lanterns and had a great time regardless!

Design Team Bind-it-all Projects - Sarah G

I was delighted to borrow Wendy's "bind-it-all" machine to create some mini albums this month (thanks soooooo much Wendy). If you've not tried this awesome little machine you must. It is so easy to use and the projects that you can create are limited only by your imagination. I made two mini books then I began to experiment with using the bind-it-all to jazz up my 12x12 layouts. I loved making faux note paper using the binder to punch holes in ordinary cardstock or patterned paper then tearing through each hole. I also punched all the way round the edges of a 12x12 piece of cardstock and threaded wool through the holes to make a cool frame around my LO. All 4 of my projects are in the shop. Now I have to save up for a bind-it-all of my own!

Do you want to learn more about how to use your machine? Do you look at the buttons and wonder what their function really means? Here at NZ Scrapbook we are now offering one-on-one Cricut Tuition.

Cricut Tuition is offered in One hour sessions which is personally adjusted to suit your experience. You are welcome to bring along any specific Cricut projects you would like assistance with and any questions you may have.

The Cricut (Cricut Expressions, Cricut Create or the Personal Cricut) allows you to cut letters, shapes and images in sizes from 1/4" - 24", light weight papers, speciality papers to heavy cardstocks and chipboard.
