Stylish Gift wrapping and easy!
When the lovely Fenn arrived a work this morning bearing wee gifts for myself and the girls I just had to show you! At first look you would be sure it was packaged that way but it is actually hand wrapped with scrapbook paper! They feel crisp and smart and the little details really sing.
So I hit up Fenn to find out how create them too...
So I hit up Fenn to find out how create them too...
- This works best with a small compact gift.. something tells me there is a chocolate bar inside :)
- Cut scrapbook paper so it folds around the gift snuggly and adhere closed with double sided tape.
- Insert two strips of double sided tape at each open end and PRESS closed rather than fold.
- Trim each end with zig zag pinking shears.
- Heres the super cool part: Insert each end into paper crimpers to create pinched fold ends.
- Cut small Christmas images from Christmas scrapbook paper or stickers, add little embellishments such as rhinestones, flowers and kindy glitz to decorate the gifts.

Congratulations David!
So it seems my little brother is going into the NAVY!
He doesn't move on until February so be sure to ask him tricky crafting questions in his last month or so... only if you have time for the answer though... he's become a bit of a dab hand with the double sided tape and Kindy Glitz!
Apparently competition was fierce with just a few people getting in for this intake. I forget the numbers but he did well.
Congrats David!

Saturday FREE Make'n'Takes
Glittered Transparency Window CardUsing adhesive images, glitter and transparencies you will get to make this lovely window greeting card. We will show you masking techniques so that you can use different colour glitters and then you can take this card home to give to a loved one. This card takes approximately 20min to complete.
In keeping the the Transparency theme for this week our second Make'n'Take project is using clear stickers from PeelCraft, Transparency sheets and Copic Markers to colour. Copic Markers on shiny surfaces gives you another option for creativity that most coloured pens don't give you.
Comments from past Copic Marker Make'n'Takes include "The are so soft to use!" and " Very smooth colour" Once you have tried them you will see why Copic Markers are such a favourite. This project takes approximately 15min to complete.

Vintage Christmas Card Workshop Photo Highlights
Heyas,
Photo highlights from last week's Vintage Christmas Card Workshop. Everyone had a wonderful time and yes, by request I have started working on the next Vintage Card class for the new year. I haven't got the Vintage Card roll I'm on out of my system yet. :)
Thanks to Els who took all the lovely pics. Of course she is behind the camera and conveniently avoids being IN any of the pics. Thanks for your contribution!
Enjoy peeps...
