Product Preview: 7 Gypsies - This Wednesday!

7 Gypsies Layout for our Wednesday night Product Preview Event

This weeks surprise Product Preview event is the eclectic, arty and oh so inspirational 7 Gypsies brand!

We have TWO stunning new paper collections from 7 Gypsies plus a whole caboodle of stamps, stickers, collage elements, brads... oooh and the very cool Binderie punch, photo tree, ATC display and more!

Come along to our Product Preview event this Wednesday and be the first to see. Plus we will be making this texture rich scrapbook page, receive a Take Home project and be in to win some fabulous 7 Gypsies prizes.

Product Preview: 7 Gypsies
Date: Wednesday 30th September at 7pm
Event fee: $25 which includes product/project materials, light supper & entry in to win prizes.
Please bring:

• Photo for your layout - suggested size 5"x 7" although larger or smaller will work fine. Photo can be added later if you don't have a suitable one at hand.
• Adhesives - Photo splits and/or clear drying glue. Also recommended for the ribbon, clear double sided tape (I will be showing my favourite on the night)
• Scissors, paper trimmer
• Antique/sepia stamping ink. We will have some available for purchase and class ones to share if you don't have one.

Basic Grey Take Home Project

This is our super simple but oh so cute Take Home Project from last nights Product Preview: Basic Grey "I want it all!" using the gorgeous Eskimo Kisses Range

Merry Christmas Pocket Card

1. Fold the tag pocket lower section upwards along the fold to create a pocket.
2. Cut strips of the patterned paper stripe and small poinsettia pattern to make a border along the pocket edge. Adhere with glue or photo splits.
3. Secure the pocket along the outer edges with the two eyelets.
4. Cut around the Merry Christmas sentiment and mat with a small piece of blue patterned paper.
5. Cut out a variety of elements from the patterned paper. Include the tiny santas and small trees and houses.
   
6. Glue each element onto the end of a toothpick (Scotch Quick Dry Tacky Adhesive works great) then once dry, further decorate each element with Crystalina Kindy Glitz.
7. Pop each element into the pocket and attach the large stitched brad, through folded green ribbon and the hole at the top of the tag.
8. Adhere the completed tag to the front of the folded white card.
   

School Holiday Program

Hi kids and parents!
School holiday time again and we have a fab line up of activities to keep you busy the first week of the school holidays.

School Holiday program works like this:
Four mornings of fantastic paper crafting with (school teacher by day) Barbara Farrow - come to one or come to all four. Open to school aged children, under 8year participants require a parent or guardian. Adult participants are welcome to attend - our school holiday program is especially popular with grandparents and school teachers!

Sessions run from 9.30am - 12.30
Fee: $28.50 which includes all materials, morning tea (Barbara is a great cook!!) and an abundance of creative fun.

Layout for Basic Grey Product Preview event

Product Preview: Basic Grey "I want it all!" is just about ready for tomorrow night (Wednesday 23rd September)
We will be making this layout in rich wine red, plum, and orange shades. It is a 12"x12" page using the new Indian Summer collection and features laser cut paper, layering, Cuttlebug lettering, flowers, pearls, brads, ribbon and machine stitching.

You will need one 5"x7" photo and one 4"x 6" photo for this layout. This layout can be easily adjusted for alternative sized photos if desired. Please also bring your adhesives, paper trimmer, ruler and pencil.

Basic Grey Product Preview THIS Wednesday night!

Hi all,
The Product Preview dry spell is over and you know what they say about the calm before the storm... so hope you're ready for some fun scrapbooking nights out!

THIS WEDNESDAY night is Product Preview: Basic Grey "I want it all!"


Ok so "I want it all" is not the name of any of these wonderful new ranges but its pretty much what I said when ordering it. I love the new products and I think you will too.

Four new paper and embellishment collections including a sweet Christmas range, pretties and a wow retro pattern. That's all the hints I'm giving!

Crop nights are an open night to work on your pages and have helpful assistance from our friendly Crop Tutor Michelle Reid. Come along on your own or with a group for progress on your pages, cup of tea and chat plus you have the whole store selection at your fingertips so you can choose that perfect paper or embellishment.

Crop nights are just $10 to attend and we keep a tab for you during the evening of any products you may wish to purchase. No bookings necessary. All welcome!
