First off, you may have noticed we have been having some website troubles the last month. Our apologies if you have been trying to view it with no success. Hopefully all resolved soon.
With this lovely Summer we have been having we have scheduled a HUGE range of classes for those of you wanting a bit of scrapbooking inspiration and have a little extra time up your sleeves. In fact there is something creative happening every day!
Here is our schedule of classes and events by date order:

Crop nights are an open night to work on your pages and have helpful assistance from our friendly Crop Tutor Michelle Reid. Come along on your own or with a group for progress on your pages, cup of tea and chat plus you have the whole store selection at your fingertips so you can choose that perfect paper or embellishment.
Crop nights are just $10 to attend and we keep a tab for you during the evening of any products you may wish to purchase. No bookings necessary. All welcome!

Class Fee: FREE
Anyone with a interest in altered arts, collage, journals... any mixed media art is welcome to join us for this free social evening. Bring something to work on. This is a great chance to see what people are working on. All welcome.

Saturday FREE Make'n'Takes project

Time: Anytime between 10am - 4pm
Project fee: FREE
Call into the store anytime between 10am and 4pm to make our free make'n'take project. Learn a new technique or try some new products. Bring your friends! Project takes 10-15min to complete. (Project to be posted to the blog over the next couple of days).

Beginners Workshop
Date: Tuesday 12th January
Time: 10.30am
Class fee: $20 including materials
Designed for the first time scrapbooker, we will introduce you to scrapbooking basics, help you make a page and answer any questions you may have. Class fee is $20 and includes materials to make your first page.
Lets Go Layout using My Mind's EyeDate: Wednesday 13th January
Time: 10.30am
Class fee: $25 including materials
Product Preview repeat class for those of you who missed it the first time round. Some photo ideas include: Road trip photos, travel photos, racing photos, any photos with cars including real cars and toy cars, a photo with a child wearing a car shirt or a photo of a child/person with a Let's Go attitude. Lots of options when you think outside the box. If you can't find a photo, this layout can easily have a photo added later.
Please bring:
- One 4"x6" photo. Landscape or portrait orientation will work fine.
- Basic Kit including fine tip scissors.
- A dark brown, or dark red felt tip pen. I used a Sharpie since it has lots of ink but a Tombow or other felt will work fine.
- A journalling pen for fine writing.
- Adhesives: Photosplits and a fine tip clear drying adhesive (a glue stick would also work)
Graphic45 Christmas LayoutDate: Thursday 14th January
Time: 7pm
Class fee: $25.00 including materials
Product Preview repeat class. Inspired by the nostaligic Christmas papers we will be making this pretty layout which features the techniques of photo sanding and Twinkling H2O's.
Please Bring:
- Brown Ink Pad
- Basic Kit including a ruler, paper trimmer, pencil and fine tip scissors
- Adhesives. I used glue and photo splits
- A small paintbrush if you have one. A .5cm Flat brush is ideal but others would be fine.

We have two school holiday workshops running prior to the kids going back to school. Come to one or come to both making creative papercraft projects. (Samples to come) All kids, boys and girls and big kids (aka you!) too are welcome to attend. Under 8year old children require a parent or guardian.

Scrapbooking with Tracy is now Scrapbooking techniques with Tracy. Her popular class still has you making a lovely page but now the focus is learning a new technique at every class. This is perfect for the beginner or intermediate scrapbooker alike who wish to expand their range of skills.

From 6pm till Midnight this is our monthly crop event where you can work on your pages, have fun with friends, participate in a crop game, enjoy a light supper and be in to win some great prizes.

So as you can see there is a heap of classes available for you to participate in. If you have never been to a scrapbooking class before, rest assured they are friendly and relaxed. All of our classes listed are suitable for beginners to advanced scrapbookers.
It is recommended you bring a basic kit of paper trimmer, scissors and adhesives to each class (Beginners workshop excluded - we provide everything).
