Classes this week

Hi folks,
What a wonderful weekend weather and just like that we are straight back into Monday.
Tracy had her techniques class this morning and it is a really lovely layout (see further down). Don't worry if you missed it though because she repeats it again on Thursday evening.

Heritage Class is on again this Tuesday night - Deborah always has some lovely pages so you can build you family history album. Only a few more of these workshops left for the year!

Gina is back on Wednesday sharing her valuable knowledge of the Gypsy and Cricut machines. Have all your questions answered on how to use these great crafting tools.

Plus of course, our staple Beginners workshops, Crops and kids classes. Here's the lowdown for the week:


Beginners Workshop
Date: Tuesday 2nd November, 10am and 7pm
Class fee: $20 including materials
Please bring: Photos to create your first page

This is your opportunity to learn the ins and outs of scrapbooking, what you need and where to start. Our tutors will guide you through making a page and you will leave with a finished layout for your album. No materials needed - just bring a photo or two.


Heritage Workshop
Date: Tuesday 2nd November, 7pm
Class fee: $25 including materials
Please bring: Photos, basic kit (scissors, paper trimmer, pencil) and adhesives

Create a page for your Family History album at this friendly class. These layout projects feature fine details and careful layered papers perfect for those treasured photographs. All welcome.


Cricut Gypsy and Expressions information morning
Date: Wednesday 3rd November at 10am
Class fee: $15
No experience or materials needed though please bring a notebook/pencil for notes. Learn the ins and outs of the Cricut Gypsy design tool and Cricut Expressions cutting machine. Really maximize you usage by learning tips and tricks from a Cricut pro.


Daytime Crop
Date: Wednesday 3rd November, 10am - 2pm
Class fee: $10
Please bring: Current projects, kit and materials

What is cropping? It's the scrapbooky name for working on your layouts usually in store or with a group of friends. Come and use our tables to create and have assistance with your pages and projects from crop tutor Tracy. Optional: bring a plate to share for lunch.


Thursday night Crop
Date: Thursday 4th November, 6pm - 10pm
Class fee: $10
Please bring: Current projects, kit and materials

Crop Night fee is just $10 and is an open night where you can work your pages, meet like minded crafty gals, enjoy a cuppa and scrapbooking inspiration.
We also have the convenient option of keeping a running tab during the night should you wish to purchase from the store for your project. Suitable for beginners and experienced scrapbookers.

This week's Scrapbooking Techniques with Tracy Layout

Scrapbooking Techniques with Tracy
Date: Thursday 4th November at 7pm
Class fee: $25 which includes materials
Please bring: Photos, your basic kit and adhesives

Lots of texture, inking and detail in this week's lovely Scrapbooking Techniques with Tracy layout. With the fresh combination of turquoise and orange with a dash of lime green this layout would suit photos of all sorts.


Parent and Child Class
Date: Saturday 6th November, 1pm
Fee: $12 including materials
Please bring: Photos to scrapbook

Linda will be taking the kids and parents through two 8"x8" scrapbook layouts. She always has really pretty and creative ideas for the younger child. 4 - 8 years age group. New participants welcome.


Kids Class
Date: Saturday 6th November, 3 -5pm
Fee: $12 including materials
Please bring: Photos, your basic kit and adhesives

Suitable for the 8 -14year age scrapbooker. Come and make a page for your album and learn scrapbooking techniques. Please bring photos and adhesives.
