We divided our stand into sections with the easel showing what was happening each day

Hi Friends,
We had a very busy weekend exhibiting out at SENZ. SENZ is New Zealand's Scrapbooking and Papercraft Expo. It was great to see so many of our regular customers out getting inspired by by classes and products available.

On the NZ Scrapbook Stand we had lots of special offers including The Vagabond, The Bigshot, Die Cuts with a View stacks and more. Tracy was busy each day teaching our luxury Make'n'Take to attendees and Kathleen had a display of her Altered Art and collages. Not to mention lolly pops - you gotta have energy at these things!

1. Write a review. iTunes love reviews, people looking for apps love reviews. It is super easy to post a review on iTunes. Just go to the scrAPPy sketches app, scroll down till it says Leave a review. Click, fill in the comment box with your feedback and done. Whee!
2. Share with your friends by email, Facebook and Twitter. We are all pretty familiar with the idea of sharing on Facebook things that you think are pretty cool. Did you know iTunes has an easy link that you might not notice right away? I took a screen shot so you can see... Its just a click on that little downward arrow then select Facebook, Twitter or Tell a friend. That Copy Link is pretty nifty too which brings me to No.3
3. Tell peeps about scrAPPy sketches on your Blog. Yeah I know I'm being pretty out there asking for your help but scrAPPy sketches rocks and it would be awesome if more scrapbookers knew. Baby flowers..

With new stock of miniature flowers just arrived I am reminded how much I enjoy using them in both scrapbook layouts and greeting cards. This particular shipment has a huge array of colours, some with tinted edges and some with micro bead petal tips.


My fav techniques with these tiny flowers:

• Mix these little babies up with the larger sized flowers. I especially like how they look with the new Kaiser florals.
• Mix the colours up. Same colour family but different colours (eg: pinks and reds together) is especially effective.
• Take advantage on the long stems. Create a trailing look with the long elegant stem, twist them around each other to create a vine or wreath.
• Hand colour them. Touch Copic Markers or another ink pen to the edges of the petal for a custom colour.
• Dot tiny rhinestones on their tips. Sparkly! Add Kindyglitz for double glittery action.
  

I store my miniature flowers in a preserving jar on my art desk. Even when I'm not using them they are just so pretty.
