Memorabilia Pocket Special and events this week

Hi friends,
Another week has started with May bringing sharp crisp air giving a hint of things to come.  I lit my first fire for the season on the weekend and lets just say my scrapbooking skills are better than my firemaking ones!  Ahh well, practice makes perfect.. which I guess is true of any skill isn't it?  Crafting is no exception - while my pages may come together fairly easy these days it wasn't always that way.  So if you find yourself despairing over the next step in your current layout, take a break, step back and come back to it after a cuppa... or do what I do and stick something down and hope for the best!  Amazing how we overthink such things at times.

Another strategy is to get a second opinion from another crafter.  Fresh eyes can spark that idea you hadn't thought of.  This is where Crops are so great.  Enjoying scrapbooking with other paper crafters who are working on their own projects but also sharing ideas and enthusiasm together.  We have TWO fun crops times every week.  Daytime Crop,  Tuesday's from 10am - 2pm (or what your time allows) and Thursday night 6pm until 10pm.  Both Crops are just $10 to attend.  Much fun and a good way to meet new people.  No bookings necessary.  Just bring your current pages or projects to work on and tools to use.  There are some tools available for class use - please ask for more info.

This week we have a little counter special and it's a goodie!  Memorabilia Pockets by 3L.  Usually $6.99 for this week only, just $3.50 a packet.  Memorabilia Pockets are the right size to hold a lock of hair, baby teeth, souvenir coins, medals or any other flattish trinket you would like to include on a scrapbook page.  Self adhesive, just remove the backing sheet and adhere to your layout.  EASY!
Special finishes end of day Saturday 12th May.

Coming up this week we also have Tracy's popular scrapbook workshop on Thursday evening and a very special Mother's Day project for children and adults alike this Saturday.  More information to come.

Have a fabulous week crafty types!
