Jamie Waters comes to NZ Scrapbook!

NZ Scrapbook welcomes International Scrapbook teacher Jamie Waters to New Zealand!
Jamie is a talented published scrapbooker and photographer who has represented some of the top Scrapbooking Manufacturers with her work. You can find her distinctive layouts in many of the Autumn Leaves publications and is also a Two Peas Garden Girl.
Jamie’s fun and imaginative class will be run at two time slots: 1pm and 6.30pm – Friday 11th January 2008. Cost: $75
Bookings are essential.

Saturday FUN!

I SOOOO appreciate how cool it is to work somewhere where you look forward to coming to work. Yesterday (Saturday) just FLEW by! I think it was because we had SO MUCH ON :)

Here's some of the highlights...

Last day of the Cricut/Cuttlebug combo promo. Both are such awesome tools - can't wait for the December releases to arrive! We are all itching to see what the Design Studio does.



Doodling Class. We love the Crafters Workshop templates. In this class we got creative with Versamark Ink, folding flowers, gel markers, Cuttlebug and more.


Our Altered Book Club Exhibition CONTINUES! Lots of lookers through... heaps of creative ideas here. I will post a full blog on the exhibition at a later date. In the meantime, it runs till the end of day Tues 27th November.



Kids Class participants worked some magic with Chatterbox papers, embossing, Accu-cut machine... these kids sure can SCRAP!



Not forgetting to mention our croppers who threatened me with all manner of near death torturous behaviours if I published a photo of them... something tells me I need to take advantage of our instore one-on-one Photoshop training...

Name Canvas Class - Creative fun!

Yesterday Wendy ran TWO great Canvas classes. Each student created a wall canvas using a photo and the featured persons name meaning as their central theme. If you have ever been to any of Wendy's classes you will know she packs alot of great instruction and technique into two hours. It was fun being her assistant even if she was trying to give me grief over my preferred glue choice (lets not go there!) :) Not to worry, I shall get her back next time she assists for me!

We managed to grab some pics of a few of the students pieces - I think you will agree they did GREAT WORK!
