New Zealand Scrapbook Festival of Paperarts
Four days of back to back classes and fun celebrating paper arts in its many forms: Scrapbooking, Cardmaking, Altered Art, Mini-books, Stamping to name a few and you are invited to join us!There is something for everyone - Including FREE Make n Take projects, crops, kids classes and fantastic Product Preview events.
As follows is our initial release of classes. Photos are unavailable for some events so check back for regular updates. Bookings Open Now.

Beginners Workshop Designed for the first time scrapbooker, we will introduce you to scrapbooking basics, help you make a page and answer any questions you may have. Class fee is $10 including materials.

Nestabilities Layout Designed by Nestabilities/Spellbinder founder Stacy Caron this layout will show you some of the wonderful cutting, embossing and stenciling techniques that can be used with these die-cutting tools. Nestibilities card class projectsNestabilities Card Class Conveniently scheduled after the Nestabilities layout class continue your creating with Spellbinder dies in this Nestabilities Card Class. These are the cards we learnt at the retailer training day so are full of techniques.

Lots of UTEE and embossing techniques in this workshopUTEE and Embossing Techniques In paper arts nothing else quite has the wow factor like embossing. In this technique based class learn introductory and advanced methods of heat

Come along to this creative class and learn techniques that will have you trading with your arty friends in no time. Suitable for all levels. Special Festival Events
Daily free Make’n'Take Projects Every day during the Festival we have FREE Make n Take projects you can participate in. From 10am – 4pm each day a different project will be
available for you to create. Come to one or come to all four! Great for beginners, kids, intermediate and advanced crafters. Visit this blog during the festival to see each days project.
Tuesday 14th 7pm–9pm
Opening Night Event
The evening starts with refreshments as you browse a firsthand look at the upcoming workshops and make’n’takes scheduled for the festival days. Followed by a stunning layout project using some of our favourite products. Event fee $29 and includes materials for the layout, refreshments and automatic entry to win some great prizes!
Wednesday 15th 7pm–9pm
Festival Special Product Preview
If you have been to our Product Preview events you will know how fun and great value they are. Stay tuned for the announcement of what great brand we will be featuring! Product Preview ticket prices are $25 and includes project pack and materials, tea/coffee to follow and entry in to win featured product prizes.
Thursday 16th 7pm–9pm
Painless Journaling Take Two Festival special.
Our original Painless Journaling special event has been one of the highlights of our workshop calendar for 2009. This festival event has a completely new layout but same great journaling problem solving attitude. Event Fee $25 for this content full, inspiring workshop. Includes materials and entry in to win more great prizes.
Friday 17th 6pm–12am
Festival Crop Event – Retro Baby!
6pm – midnight come in your 60’s, 70’s or 80’s garb to be in to win the Best dressed prizes. Scrap the night away to the Beetles, Abba, Elvis, Janice, The Doors… through to Madonna and Cyndi Lauper. Make a fun retro mini-project, enjoy light supper and have more than a few
laughs. Bring your current scrapbooking or paper crafts projects and be ready for a great time! Crop event just $15 to attend.
Saturday 18th 6pm–7pm
Festival After Party
At the New Zealand Scrapbook Festival of Paper Arts After Party we will be making special
presentations and drawing of our Festival Grand Prize. All welcome, free to attend. From 6-7pm though you are welcome to stay on until longer if you wish. Come join us for the wrap!

Was really excited till I realised it was smack in the middle of the week and in school holidays... and then I just wondered WHY?
I so enjoy the news about the events you have and sale specials, but then I get frustrated because I cannot join the many classes or purchase sale goods. I do understand why but could you do something just for web clients?

I have been thinking of ways we could do classes for our out of town customers. Also we have been working on getting our website up to date with some of the new products coming through so hopefully we can do something special through the site.
