New Products in store and arriving...

Have you been down and checked out the Mega store yet? No? what are you waiting for?!

This might be a bit of a lengthy, picture intensive update but I wanted to let you know about all the new products which are in store and arriving. Firstly, the new Cricut Expressions is in store now...wow! The possibilities with this new machine are endless...you can use any available cricut cartridge plus a host of new ones with this machine and cut shapes up to 23.5" tall! There are a host of cartridges designed with classroom use in mind and as a teacher I can certainly see many uses for these. There are two cartridges that come packaged with your new cricut, a font one and a shape one and I am particularly in love with the shape one with its lovely swirls and doodles :O)
New K & Co in store includes the light ideas range of albums and embellishments. These are really cool...both the albums and embellishments feature little lights that light up and twinkle when you press a certain area. Also from K & Co and designed by Brenda Walton there is a new baby range especially designed for baby's first album in both girl and boy colourways... and gem rhinestones - I love bling so just had to have some of these! And for funky, girly layouts the new K & Co Sparkly sweet range is a must have, check out the colours and the butterflies...yummy! I have had a heap of fun playing with all the new Ranger Industries products in store too. If you haven't tried alchohol inks yet you are missing out on some fun. These inks colour any non porous surface, so can be used to colour glossy cardstock, metal, plastic, glass...you name it! They come in all the colours you know and love from the Adirondack Ink pads and also metallics like gold and copper. I'm using some at the moment to jazz up a metal lunch box to keep all my little bits of bling in :O)
Adirondack colour washes are also available, you will see a canvas in store where I have used these to create a watercolour wash type background. These are an acid-free, non-toxic, water-based dye developed for use on paper, fibers, fabric and more. Tim Holtz helped design these dyes to produce batik and hand-dyed looks on craft and textile projects. Also from Ranger Industries new in store are the Inkssentials Accents ranges. Glossy Accents™ is a clear, three-dimensional gloss medium. Matte Accents™ is a non-glossy, dimensional medium. Sepia Accents™ is a brown-toned, dimensional gloss medium and Crackle Accents™ is a one-step, dimensional, gloss medium that dries to a cracked finish. I have used the crackle accents myself and have found it to be the best, easiest crackle medium I have ever used! The beauty of this medium is that it is one step, no more waiting for the first step to dry and then applying another medium. Just paint this over your paper and you get a wonderful cracked effect - awesome.Still with me there dear reader? Okay and finally arriving soon...Basic Grey Infuse! Yay! Here's a pic...Absolutely gorgeous of course in true Basic Grey fashion! There are four more lines ordered and coming in the not too distant future too...so exciting!
