This week at New Zealand Scrapbook!

Hi all,
This week kicked off wonderfully with our new Book of Me class series that started last night. We had a great group of people creating their Book of Me albums. It's not too late to join in this upcoming Monday.

Book of Me - Week Two
Monday 9th March at 7pm
$15 Crop fee.

As for the rest of this week there are LOTS of great activities to take part in!

Special class fee of only $10. Materials included

Want to try scrapbooking? This is the class for you. All first time scrapbookers welcome.


This weeks Scrapbooking 103 layout

Scrapbooking 103
Wednesday4th March. Two time slots available 10.30am and 7pm
Class fee is $20 including class kit.

This class is designed for the beginner-intermediate scrapbooker who wants to develop their range of skills. Michelle Whorwood has designed a fabulous new series of layouts so even if you have done the 101 to 203 range of classes before you are welcome to attend again. You will be making all new layouts!

This weeks Scrapbooking 103 layout includes the techniques of inking, fussy cutting, Accu-cut diecutting, layering, doodling and paper weaving


Altered Books 101 Project

Wednesday 4th March at 7pm
Class fee is $35 including book and materials.

Introductory class in making Altered Books. You will make a niche book complete with a textured cover and crackle image. Taught by Mixed media Artist Kathleen Green (me!) this class is technique packed!

Crop Night
Thursday 5th March
Crop fee is just $10, no booking necessary.

Perfect for all levels of scrapbooker, come along and work on your pages. Our helpful crop tutor Michelle Reid is on hand to assist you in making great pages. Crop nights are a friendly social night - all welcome.


A selection of the background techniques you will learn

Tag Background workshops
Thursday 5th March. Two time slots available 10.30am and 7pm
Class fee is just $20 per session and includes materials.

Totally technique based, Wendy will be sharing some background methods that you can then apply to your scrapbooking, card making, altered book or general art projects. This session is number one of three sessions. You can choose to do one class or all three. Part two and three are scheduled for the 19th March and 2nd April. At the end of three classes you will have a jam packed tag book that you can use for reference to create fantastic backgrounds.



Spellbinders are close at hand! In store soon

Mega Die-cutting Weekend!
To launch Spellbinders in store we are having a mammoth weekend of demos and make'n'takes using the new Spellbinder diecutting products. Plus HUGE restock on Cuttlebug and Cricut Products too. Spellbinder products will be available in store from Friday morning. Pre-order customers can expect calls that their order is ready over the next few days.

Altered Book Club
Saturday 7th March 5pm

Linda is hosting this months Altered Book Club. She will be sharing an arty project that you can make followed by tea/coffee, show and tell and of course a good chat! All welcome and no charge.
