I know we have had a lot of rain but isn't SPRING exciting! I'm sure I'm appreciating it more this year than years past. And wow Christchurch - we are all thinking of you.
There is a lot on this week here at New Zealand Scrapbook (as always!) - layout classes, arty classes, crops... perhaps one of our workshops will be just the ticket to get the creative juices flowing.

Top Secret Cuttlebug Class - 110 Techniques
Date: Monday 13th September at 7pm and Friday 17th September at 10am
Class fee: $20 including materials
Please bring: Cuttlebug and mats, basic kit (Paper trimmer, scissors, pencil and ruler) and adhesives
Recommended for ALL Cuttlebug owners. Monday nights class is Week 7 and Friday Mornings Class is Week 8. You can join this series anytime or if you have done some of the classes already then come along and participate in the weeks not completed yet. By the end of the series you will have a tag reference of 110 Cuttlebug Techniques - Amazing!

Daytime Crop

What is cropping? Its the scrapbooky name for working on your layouts usually in store or with a group of friends. Come and use our tables to create and have assistance from crop tutor Tracy. Optional: bring a plate to share for lunch. Wednesday Daytime Cropping FREE for September.

Class fee: $25 including materals, gift and light supper
Please bring: 5"x7" Photo - we can tweak the layout if you have different size/orientation photos, Sissors, paper trimmer, adhesives and (preferably) a dark grey felt pen otherwise black will be fine.
In this special event class we will be making shaped borders, machine stitching, blinging and generally having a great crafting time!

Thursday night Crop

Crop Night fee is just $10 and you can work your pages, meet like minded crafty gals, enjoy a cuppa and scrapbooking inspiration.
We also have the convenient option of keeping a running tab during the night should you wish to purchase from the store for your project.
Altered Book Club

I've been contemplating changing the title of this meeting to Art Journal Monthly or some such title since most of us have been sharing our journal art lately - super cool! Pretty much we spend most of our time chatting and catching up.. and we always leave inspired to create... isn't that what its all about? So if you are interested in journals, altered books, collage, creative stamping and any other mixed media art this casual get together is for you. All welcome.

Last month's Artist Trading Card workshop was so fun we didn't want to stop and all the participants asked that I book in another so they could come again. So I have and its this Saturday! Featuring collage techniques and texture paste and custom embellishments. Plus includes very nice image pack to do many many more Artist Trading Cards and mixed media projects.
As you can see there are lots of creative learning and activities to join in. All welcome, you don't need to have been to classes before to start with any of these workshops. All of our tutors are friendly and welcoming!
