By popular request Copic Marker classes are back! This time we have condensed three information and technique packed workshops into two classes so you get most bang for your buck and time.
Copic Markers are beautiful for colouring stamped and drawn images and lettering. Come along and learn the specific marker techniques involved in getting great results using this fantastic colouring pen.
What you will learn at these two workshops:
All about Copic markers - pen basics. Choosing papers and inks. How to test papers and inks. Basic colouring including FOUR blending techniques.
Using the Colourless Blender - Highlights, fading to white, fixing mistakes, patterns. Mixed media effects.
Considering light in basic shading. Hair techniques, skin techniques.
Full colour handouts for the entire workshop is provided as well as paper materials and images.
Dates available: Two part class series.
Daytime: Wednesday 7th Sept and Wednesday 14th Sept 10am - 12noon
or Evening: Thursday 29th September and Thursday 6th October 7pm - 9pm
Class fee: $20 per class ($40 total) plus $5 for Clear file binder or you can bring your own. Materials excluding pens provided.
Materials requirement: Scissors & adhesives, Pen Colours: R00 Pinkish White, R02 Flesh, Y00 Barium Yellow, Y02 Canary Yellow, 0 Colourless Blender, Copic Multi Liner Black in size .5
Please bring any Copic markers you already have in your collection. Recommendations for skin and hair colours will be given which you may wish to purchase before Week Two class. Some store markers will be available but you will need to share.
Please name your markers before bringing them to class. I found typing and printing my name on the computer, cutting them out small and covering the label with sellotape to be a neat way of labeling.
