Product Preview: Basic Grey "Euphoria" Report

Time for the photo report from Friday's Product Preview: Basic Grey "Euphoria"

Now I know I say this every time, but we really did have a great time. Lots of fun, lots of page making and lots of prizes ... check it out!:

It takes a fair amount of time to register more than sixty people through the door. So while we are waiting for arrivals, participants are invited to enjoy juice and on this particular night pink lemonade in the time leading up to the start of the event.

Final preparations are being made upstairs. Look what was waiting for our participants!

Note: I think I got a bit confused joining the above picture into a panoramic - but you get the idea!

Us girls are always up for a challenge and love a bit of atmospheric lighting. Scrapbooking by candlelight anyone? Who says you need to see to make great pages? hehehee.

Ok, I am kidding there about scrapbooking in the dark :) Each person had a lit candle at their seat. Our second project took this unassuming party candle and mini-kit to an Euphoric this...

without the wax colour change!

The candle is wrapped with Basic Grey Euphoric paper, tied with ribbon. The flower images are the Euphoric stamps carefully cut out and layered onto the front of the candle with a pink rhinestone, and Kindyglitz to complete.

So yes, the lights DID go on and we got down to business.

First up we check out the new yumminess.

Product Preview: Basic Grey "Euphoria!" Take Home Project

Hi folks and funky Basic Grey Friday night previewers!

We had a great night Friday (photos to come) didn't we? Here are your Take Home Project layout picture and instructions:

Product Preview: Basic Grey "Euphoria!" Take Home Project. Giggle Layout

1. Lay the shimmer pink scallop paper onto your work surface to use as your background for this layout. Apply your blue chalk ink to the edges of the two Euphoria patterned paper strips then adhere to the right side edge of your layout.
   
2. Apply the blue chalk ink to the edges of your Euphoria paper circle and adhere to your layout according to the picture above. You will need to slip the edge of the circle under your border strips.
3. Mat your photograph onto the black cardstock and adhere to your layout.
4. Adhere the cardstock brackets and dots to your layout. A fine tip glue pen works well for this.
5. Select a title of your choice and use the black lettering stickers to create the title for your layout.
6. Embellish with the black flowers and button to the left side of the layout.
7. Complete your layout with journalling. Be sure to use a journalling pen that will dry on a shiny surface (the shimmer paper) or write your journalling onto another piece of card and attach to your layout.

Some Ideas using mainly Kaiser Craft Products (Sarah Groen)

Sarah here from the design team. I got to play with one of the Kaiser craft wooden albums this month. At first I was not sure what to do with the album that had number 50 as its cover. I didn't know anyone who had celebrated a significant 50th recently. Then my daughter Natalie came up with a great idea. Why not print off 50 favourite photos? So thats exactly what I did. I printed 50 of my favourite photos from this year in varying sizes (you have to be a bit creative here as it is not easy to fit 50 photos onto 3 pages LOL). I painted the album with 'Seamist' coloured Kaiser acrylic paint, usung texture paste and "metallic silver" acrylic paint to highlight the number 50. I then arranged the photos with strips of patterned paper and finished off by adding some 'Chatterbox' stickers with a family theme amd Kaiser rub-ons. I bound the 'pages' together with book rings and decorated them with ribbon.

I also put together these three layouts using mainly Core'dinations cardstock and Kaiser Craft paper. I loved the Chatterbox flocked stickers and the 'Prima' chipboard buttons. Thanks for looking.

Hi all,

This Friday is Product Preview: Basic Grey "Euphoria" and I can't wait! Phone bookings have been coming thick and fast and looking at this beautiful product... well, its going to be a great night!

Here is the layout sample for Friday nights main project:


This is a scraplift from Basic Grey Designer Kelly Goree.


If you are attending our Preview event you will need to bring:

• Three 4"x6"photos, preferably two which are able to be hard cropped. If you don't have photos they can be added later or this layout could be adapted for other combinations of photo sizes.
• Fine tipped scissors
• Adhesives (suggested Photo splits)
• Paper Trimmer
• Journaling pen (I used a blue ink pen)

You will also be making a cute mini-project and will receive a Take-home Project layout pack (among other goodies! heheheee).

Product Preview: Basic Grey “Euphoria!” This Friday!

Hi friendly scrappers!

Yay its Product Preview time again! This time we have a new product release from one of our FAVOURITE brands – Basic Grey.

This new line entitled Euphoria is visual bliss. In fact, if I have little whizzy in my Thesaurus for the word euphoric I could easily use the words joyful, elated, ecstatic and exhilarated to describe the Euphoria range.

Okies, so here are the information you really want:
