Product Preview: SEI "The Tourist Boxes!" Preview Report

Product Preview: SEI "The Tourist Boxes!" Preview Report - That's kinda a mouthful isn't it? hehee

Happy Thursday Everyone!

WOW what a great night! When the Tourist Boxes came in we were so excited to share with you the new products and I think you will all agree that the DIVINE Velvet Paper and Word Albums plus the rest of the Jolie Chocolat range was worth waiting for.

Velvet Paper - Available in 39 different shades an patterns

Shelly and Marie

It was wonderful to see so many happy faces too. When we hit capacity we thought...hmmm lets just hire more chairs. So we did! Next time we'll rattle up more tables too! I LOVE seeing our space being so actively being used - THANK YOU for being part of that!

Herrrreeee's how the evening went down...

As participants registered and picked up their name badges we served juice and dipped into the chocolate 'waterfall'.

I put waterfall in quotation marks with purpose since we had a wee hitch with the chocolate. Seems there is an ART to chocolate. Too much heat = chocolate that SITS as opposed to flowwwww... oh wells! it was SO pretty last time... no worries - it still tasted good!

We soon headed upstairs to where the action was about to take place

So thissss is what it feels like to queue for the good stuff. Fun! The line was in good spirits!

After settling in, we showed the new products and got straight into our first project the Dream/Friends Album

The word albums are such a cool project.

We lurrve Kindy Glitz

Mix and match papers, add photos and embellishments... easy and fun!

This project gave the group the chance to try out the Crop-a-dile. A very cool tool that allows you to punch holes through ALL SORTS of surfaces. Wendy tells me she's even punched through the Kaisercraft wood board with hers!

While everyone was working away we decided it was time to give away prizes!
Congrats Wendy Jackson (you rock- don't forget it!) who received a Family Album word book.

Wendy got to do the honours for Sam Davey's prize. MUST show you all one of those Display Albums that she won completed... very cute idea

Back to creating...

while our Preview stewardess served touristy treats :)

Bringing a whole new meaning to airplane food!

With the Album project completed we checked out the Take Home Project kit (We just like giving stuff!!)

and time for more prizes...

Adrienne hope you enjoy those SEI Epoxy stickers and buttons!

Congrats Charell!

Ooooh and a hidden prize for everyone under each seat!

Straight into our mini-project

The Velvet Paper Bookmark

Ann got creative with hers. The velvet paper is a delight to work with. oooh and it goes through the Cuttlebug beautifully!

Time to check out the new product, enjoy a hot tea or coffee and chocolate treat before heading home.

The whole evening was a great lot of fun from start to finish. Special thanks to many of you who traveled from all round Auckland to attend. :)

So as we packed up our things to close up for the night it occurred to me that Paula had been strangely quiet and not up to her usual mischief. Odd don't you think? As we dimmed the lights to leave I found my self wondering that perhaps she has changed her chocolate loving ways?? And where DID I put that Cricut spatula???

!!!

Take care :)
~Kathleen
