April Highlights!

Hi all and Happy Monday!

April was such a WILD month with lots of events, new products and great classes I thought it would be fun re-look at some of the Highlights!

This month we welcomed TWO new staff members to the New Zealand Scrapbook Family:

Michelle Whorwood (left) who is doing a fantastic job introducing new Scrapbookers to this fun craft at our Beginners Class and also showing Beginner/Intermediate Scrapbookers a huge range of techniques through our Scrapbooking 101 - 103 & 201 - 203 Classes.

Michelle is a wonderfully enthusiastic scrapbooker. We have been watching her make beautiful layouts in our store for a long time and we are thrilled to have her as part of our teaching team.

(Scrapbooking 201 - Wednesday 7th May 10.30am and 7pm)

Barbara Farrow - Barbara is a school teacher by day and a long time customer. If you have read our previous Blog post you will know Barbara has been taking our School Holiday Program by storm!

Wendy's popular Top Secret Cuttlebug Training got underway (next intake starts this month)

We launched our fantastic new KAISERclub:

Altered Book Club member Donna did a great crackle medium demo at our monthly meeting:

Ooooh and I made some art at Altered Book Club - it happens now and then!:

Ian took a record number of Photoshop one-on-one training for April (just $35 for an hour session) :

We sent lots of happy customers home with shiny new Cuttlebugs (still on SALE for another week - $99, usually $129):

Kids and Parents got creative together at our Parent and Child Class:

We added more than FORTY new pieces of inspiration to our store displays:

We helped you in store with your scrapbooking and paper crafts questions - that's our favourite thing to do!:

We gave away 27 Prizes this month - that works out to almost one a day!:

Not forgetting to mention Heritage Crop Classes (full blog post on that great weekly crop class will be featured this week), Altered Books 101, Saturday Kids, we exhibited at a craft show, sent out Kits-of the Month..... and somewhere between all that I had to contend with general shop.gurl monkey business!

Yeah ok - shop.gurls RULE. lol :)
